The Garden of Morning Calm 아침고요수목원

After spending 3 hours at Nami Island, we took the shuttle bus to our next destination, which was Petite France. You can take a look at the timetable of the shuttle bus on my last post about Nami Island. We were waiting at the bus stop before the bus arrived and we met some Malaysians who were waiting for the shuttle bus too! After that we started to queue up when the bus was arriving, then suddenly a bunch of local uncles and aunties cut the line without asking. There were around 20 of them and they even pushed us when the bus arrived. What a bunch of rude people. -.- -.- -.- It was a rough journey because of the winding road and we were standing up for the whole journey because of the bunch of rude people.

After 25 minutes, we finally arrived at Petite France and we were so hungry. T-T So, we decided to go to Petite France to have our lunch. However, a staff at the ticket counter told us that there are no restaurants in Petite France. WHAAAAAAT?! So we walked for 5 minutes and found a restaurant outside. That restaurant has the stupid no sharing policy too and the owner was pretty rude as well. Everything in the restaurant is super duper expensive too but we had no choice because that's the only restaurant there. After all these utter chaos, we were running out of time and couldn't make it to go to Petite France. We went to The Garden of Morning Calm after our lunch by taking the shuttle bus.

We managed to stop by the entrance of Petite France to take a picture. xD

Gapyeong City Tour shuttle bus.

The Garden of Morning Calm is definitely a must visit place especially for those who like flowers, trees and beautiful scenery. Looking back at these photographs taken at the park, I'm so glad that we made the right decision of going The Garden of Morning Calm instead of Petite France because I completely fell in love with the garden!
