Busan Gamcheon Culture Village 부산 감천문화마을

Our flight from KLIA 2 to Busan was at 1:15am and after that I realized taking a midnight flight is definitely a bad bad bad idea. Although it was just a 6 hours flight but it was so tiring because we couldn't sleep well in the plane.

Although I couldn't get much of sleep, I was very happy and excited because I get to see this beautiful sunrise from the airplane window (but the window was a bit dirty though xD). After the plane touched down and we taken our breakfast, we went to Gamcheon Culture Village. YAY! :D

I came across pictures of this culture village when I was doing some homework for my Korea trip and at that moment I knew I must visit this place! And, I knew that I made the right decision when I saw the spectacular scenery from the top of Gamcheon Culture Village. Many people describe this culture village as the Santorini of Korea but I think all the houses look like colourful blocks of Legos from the top of the village which is why this village is also known as the Lego Village.

The houses were painted in pastel paints, the streets were decorated with mural arts and some of the houses were transformed into art galleries. This little village is transforming into an arts and culture hub of Busan. So, we spent around 2 hours at this beautiful village.
