Hello!

Yesterday was my 'fat day' and I had a feast at TAO Cuisine which hails all the way from Penang! :D TAO Cuisine serves dishes of Asian specialties such as Japanese, Chinese and Thailand foods despite being referred to as Japanese Buffet. Customers can order unlimited food from the menu provided at every table and they will serve the dishes fresh upon order. And, you can repeat your order without limits until you're satisfied! I really like the Ala Carte Buffet concept because they prepare the food fresh upon order, not like other normal buffet restaurants. 

After going through the menu, we placed our order with the waiter and he even suggested us some of their popular dishes. I think it is a very good service for first time visitors like us. After placing your order, the waiter will print the receipts of each dish and place it on your table. So when the food arrives, the waiter will remove the receipt to avoid confusion. The waiters will check on the receipts from time to time to ensure all your orders would arrive as soon as possible. They even changed our used plates with clean plates after some time. There are also simple buffet lines of salad, fruits, desserts, salmons and Teppanyaki. For the Teppanyaki, you can choose the type of meat and they will cook it for you.

 AWABI EBIKO - Abalone slices with Ebiko sauce.

 SABA SHIOYAKI - Grilled Mackerel with Salt & Pepper. This is one of my favorites because the mackerel is so juicy and very mouth-watering. 

 SHAKE SHIOYAKI - Grilled Salmon with Salt & Pepper.

 SOFT SHELL CRAB HAND ROLL - Hand roll with Lettuce, Cucumber, Eel Sauce, Sesame Seed and Soft Shell Crab.

 CRAZY ROLL - Smoked salmon and tempura prawn.

 SHAKE - Salmon Sashimi

 GYOZA - Panfried Minced Chicken Dumpling. Trust me, this is SO GOOOOOD! TT  It has a tremendous good taste that makes you feel like you are in heaven, I'm not exaggerating. xD

 YAKITORI - Chicken.

 KAKI HIROYAKI - Baked Oyster with Cheese Mayo. 

 SOFT SHELL CRAB KARAAGE - Deep Fried Soft Shell Crab with assorted Vegetables. This was a bit disappointing though. ._.

 IDAKO - Baby Octopus.

Overall, it was a very satisfying meal and the price is quite reasonable too. I think it's really worth the price you pay. :)
